Campers will delve into the world of hue, shade, tint, value and intensity. Starting from the “color wheel”, we will draw and drip paint on paper and canvas with colorful layers of paint, oil pastel and collage. We will experiment with different types of 2D printing and use pencil, pen, watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media. We will learn about exciting artists such as Jackson Pollock, Morris Louis, and other contemporary artists who use various techniques in their works.
This camp will be held virtually through Zoom. Students must have their own Zoom account and MPA will provide some basic instruction on how to use Zoom for the camp.
The supply fee is included in the camp tuition and supply kits will be available for contactless pick-up from MPA. More information about pick-up days and times will be provided.
