Week 6: Pop Art
August 1 - 5, 9am - 12pm
Ages 6-8
$295/$270 MCC district residents
Campers will explore works by “pop” artist Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Claes Oldenburg, and other artists of the 1960s and 1970s. Campers will then create their own pop artworks using found objects, commercial packaging, and other everyday commercial symbols. Discover color and composition working from everyday objects using drawing, painting, and collage techniques.
Campers should bring a snack and water each day. If attending a full day, campers should also bring lunch. Please, no nuts.
