This camp focuses on the interrelations of art with science, technology, engineering, and math. Campers explore nature and biological imagery through watercolor, ink, and acrylic. Campers take supervised nature walks into McLean Central Park for plein air sketching sessions of flora and fauna. They also collect leaves, flowers, and other natural found objects to use in their works.
Campers should bring a snack and water each day. If attending a full day, campers should also bring lunch. Please no nuts.
The safety of our campers, staff, and community is at the forefront of our minds. Please review our Health and Safety Guidelines. Campers and guardians must follow these guidelines to participate in MPA in-studio camps.
