Intermediate and Advanced Oil Painting 

This course is designed for intermediate to advanced students eager to deepen their oil painting practice. Inspired by the art of old masters in classical realism, this workshop centers on observation-based painting through portrait, figure, and landscape. Students are led to refine their paintings through composition, brush strokes, edges, value, and design. Most sessions will feature a live model. Students interested in landscapes may work from photographs or set up a still life as an alternative. Instructor: Stephanie Chang.
